I think they would still be with them because the thai women are honest and faithful.

It depends on the woman you got. If “young and hot”, no money, no honey!
However, if you got a matured woman and you really love her and cared for her, thin or thick, she will stick with you! Most specially women from the villages, they are very faithful and hard working,> But if got a woman from a bar or “elsewhere” chances are – when you have no more money, you will not have any more honey!

Probably about the same % as anywhere else in the world. Take any middle class family in any US suburb – - if the guy loses his job, has no resources and prospects how many of those marriages would stay together? Financial problems are probably the largest cause of stress in a marriage and largest reason for divorce. Anywhere.
I don’t see the connection with finding someone younger. Maybe if you asked would they find someone more financially secure, the question would make more sense.
It is not so much that it is a stupid question, but it is a little bit nasty. If you want to go after people who love money [ what 99% of the world population ] why don’t you go after bankers.

Karazyl hit the nail on the head, a lot of your Thailand questions are about foreigners and sex with hookers or Thai women or minors.
Are you asking these type questions to learn or are you just tossing your opinion out and see what other think about it?

I’m working my wife’s working and she’s now supporting her family. I guess she could go find a younger guy. Everybody wants some kind of security. Like that monthly check one gets for killing poor Vietnamese peasants and calling yourself a hero at the Big C with you coffee buddies.

I disagree with you Hsi Chu wanna be. My wife works because she wants too not because she has too. We support no one but ourselves and have a decent life. So I guess we both benefit especially since we are both not young but we are both financially very well secure.

I notice you are rather ingnorant how the world works.
Women are attracted to older men because of their big bulge. On their right hip.
Why else would a really ancient guy like Heffner (Playboy Magazine) be surrounded by gorgeous babes? Because of his good looks? Because he makes passionate love?
All women (no matter where) who marry retired men do that for a reason. Love certainly is possible, but financial security and comfort are much more likely.
There isn’t a social security net in Thailand. Suppose the farang runs out of money, what then? Jump together of a cliff?

My wife (USA) and I weren’t getting along so well anyway, but the day I came home and announced that I was closing the business and retiring (as in, making less money) she was done with me. However, to date she hasn’t had any luck finding a younger man.

Only if you are crippled and cannot walk will your wife will leave you, unless you have money to give her.
