These are members of a retirement community that perform traditional Thai music and they came to our wedding on July 11, 2009 to play music during the ceremony. This young lady is an educated student who returned home to celebrate Hmong New Year with her community. Her mother claimed she has forgotten her roots, but I say from her skills here she clearly is way better than many first generation Hmong Americans.
