Phuket (pronounced approximately as poo-get) is Thailand’s largest island and has become a popular travel destination. Phuket high season is from November through May, but the island is generally hot and humid all year long. The summer monsoon season consists mornings and afternoons that are sunny and clear while the evenings are mostly rainy. Residents consider May to October the “cool season.”
