Expats in N.E. Thailand. when you do your visa run,. Do you drive your car to the border?

You can get a “Passport rot ” and a Thai smart card Inter national drivers licence at any Department of Land and Transport office.

I preferred to fly for a breif holiday to Laos or Cambodia or even Malaysia…..thanks to the budget carriers…which costs the same as what Thai agencies charge for a visa-run. But that was about 2 years ago when I was residing in Thailand. Maybe the rate has changed now. I would personally not advise anyone to take their own car for a visa run.
