Get caught with a few grams of weed in Thailand you can get more time in the monkey house than murdering someone. They do not value life the same as what we do in the west.
If you have a bit of money to your name you can buy your way out of most situations as the Thai police are so corrupt.
But believe this for what its worth: DEATH is the sweeter option then a long stint in a Thai jail. A heroin overdose would be the way to go.

Yes, it is worst and worst now !! terrible !! i think if this continue in thaï mind, nobody wouldn’t going in thaïland and for cause !! But you live in pattaya, i guess and this aréa is not similary to another place in thaïland, it is the more bad place for mentality about money..I have been thailand juste this month and i know since 20 years, verry changed..Not good for thailand, not same before..

Arf..Thailand know now big problem with the drug about his people, particulary with yabah..They don’t want any people thinking they can come pretty savety in thailand for traffic drugs..It is a message for others foreigners, “if you come in thailand for traffic drugs, there it is what you risk !!”

Ok,I know pattaya too.but, have you seen the mentality changed,decreased ? Now, i saw many thaï people thinking only for chitting foreigner fo small or big money !! scamer by the wedding too !! Not same before and this is nothing to see with the buddhism culture !!! And yabah is also a big,big problem now !! Believe me, i love thailand, i speak thaï pretty well also..But now, unfortunally is stink !! I was very disapointed the last month’, i ‘ve been.

i marries thai girl…bar girl..but she only wanted money..she didnt get my money so she go back to bar…i learn speak thai 4year but not easy for me, now have many russian and arab in pattaya..i go walking street it be like a freak show..yabba cocain and any drug you want you can get in pattaya police same mafia there

No, actually it’s death for drugs smuggles. That sentence will usually get commuted down to 50 years unless it’s an egregious case.
